  1. Where do you live? Public schools in US do not allow any nut spreads at school, sandwich or snacks. Makes making lunch a little difficult for young eaters. Mine do not like avacado, tuna, or most vegetables. Thanks for some of the great ideas.

  2. This a great list of sandwich ideas!!! Several are grilled type sandwiches which in my mind wouldn’t be ideal for packing in a lunch box to eat several hours later. Do you really send grilled sandwiches in lunches? Just curious as it is something I have never done. Thank you!

I’m in Texas. I do find that to be true for daycares but not public school in the DFW area anyway. However, I will usually use Sunbutter instead just to be safe!

Thank you! I will usually wrap a warm sandwich in aluminum foil and put it in their lunch box to keep it warm, or cut it into bite sized pieces and put in a thermos and preheat it like in this post: https://cairnsfamilycreative.com/how-to-pack-hot-lunch-for-school
