Broccoli Cheese Soup

Broccoli and cheese soup is one of our favorite go to recipes during the cooler months. It’s comfort food in a bowl!

Broccoli Cheese Soup is a dump and go style recipe. Simply place broccoli, carrots, onions, garlic, cream cheese, spices and chicken broth into the slow cooker. Once softened add in cream and cheese for the perfect soup on a cold night.

– broccoli florets – onion – shredded carrot – garlic – cream cheese – chicken broth – heavy cream – shredded cheddar cheese (mild or sharp will work) – spices: nutmeg, salt and pepper

Ingredients

In the slow cooker add in the broccoli, onion, shredded carrots, garlic, cream cheese, chicken broth and spices. Slow cook on low for 2-3 hours until the broccoli is tender.

Add in the heavy cream and using an immersion blender, blend until your desired consistency.

Mix in the shredded cheese and cover. Allow the cheese to melt.

Serve with your favorite bread.
